About Us

Oriole Construction is owned and operated by William Crenshaw, a Minneapolis native with nearly 30 years of hands-on experience in carpentry and remodeling.

Construction runs in the family. Willy learned the trade from his dad, and the two still team up on projects when they can. The lessons he learned working alongside his dad still shape every project he tackles.

Willy lives in North Minneapolis with his wife Abbie, an artist and welder. Together, they’ve transformed their cozy 1940s Cape Cod-style home into a space full of charm and personality. They recently completed a new front porch, and Abbie says, “If I hadn’t lived here for ten years, I would have thought it original!”

Willy started Oriole Construction to offer homeowners the kind of honest, thoughtful work he’d want for his own home.
